The application number is obtained from ARA’s new system regardless of where you live in Finland starting from 1 September 2023. The application numbers issued by cities will expire on 31 December 2023, so until then you can apply for an apartment using your current number. Cities will no longer issue application numbers from September 2023 onwards.

A new nationwide application number can be applied for via ARA’s online service starting from 1 September 2023.
