KEYS

Keys must be returned to the office no later than on the date indicated on the termination form.

If all received keys are not returned, the tenant will be charged for the necessary lock serialisation according to our price list.

ELECTRICITY AND OTHER CHANGE OF ADDRESS NOTIFICATIONS

Tenants must themselves cancel their electricity contract.

Change of address notifications must be submitted to the Population Register Centre within one week of moving out.

You may inform the post office of the change of address and create an agreement regarding the forwarding of your post to your new address. The bank, insurance company and telephone company, etc., must also be informed of the change of address.

LIGHTS & DISHWASHER

Please restore all ceiling sockets/cable connectors of all lamps to their original condition.

Both pipes of the dishwasher (inlet and drain hose) must always be plugged

The tenant is responsible for any costs generated by the repair or installing of broken cabinets and junction boxes.

CLEANING OBLIGATION WHEN MOVING OUT OF AN APARTMENT

When a tenant moves out of an apartment, they must clean the property before handing over the keys. The cleaning must be done in such a way that the new resident will feel comfortable moving into their new home.

If the person moving out neglects their cleaning duty partially or completely, cleaning expenses shall be deducted from their right-of-occupancy fee.

The final cleaning obligation includes the following tasks:

Kitchen:

Defrost the fridge and freezer carefully, so that no water drips onto the floor. Leave

cupboard doors open after cleaning

Wash the fridge, freezer and stove, both inside and out, and clean the space behind them.

Clean kitchen cabinets and drawers inside and out.

Clean the ventilation valve/cooker hood and grease trap.

 

Bathroom, sauna and toilet:

Clean toilet seat, hand basin, shower corner/bathtub.

Clean tile joints and tiles.

Clean floor drain.

Wash sauna benches, walls and floor.

Clean ventilation valve.

 

In all rooms:

 Clean the space behind replacement air valves and radiators.

 Clean cabinets and shelves, both inside and out.

 Hoover and wash all floor surfaces, wash painted walls and

remove any stains from all surfaces.

 Wash windows and hoover window spacings.

 Empty´and clean storage spaces such as the cellar and the balcony/terrace.

Please do not leave any items or rubbish in the apartment!

Discarded furniture, televisions, electronics, etc. must not under any circumstances be thrown into the household waste bins, but they must be delivered directly to a landfill site!


 

RIGHT-OF-OCCUPANCY FEE

The right-of-occupancy fee will be returned only once the original right-of-occupancy agreement and keys have been returned to the owner of the property.

If the right-of-occupancy agreement is in a bank's possession, the owner of the property will handle the returning the right-of-occupancy agreement with the bank after the tenant has informed the bank of the termination of the right of occupancy
